Deaf, hard of hearing, difficulty speaking?

If you are deaf, hard of hearing,
or have difficulty speaking,
there are various ways we can help you.

The options

1. Via our digital consult(ation) which includes a chat functionality

We can help you online via this website.
You can, for example, chat with us by typing what do you want to say.

To do so, please:

  1. Attend our digital consultation (Spreekuur) and press 'Switch to English' at the bottom of the page
  2. Then select the relevant issue
  3. You will then have to answer a few questions.
  4. After that someone will immediately advise you on what to do.
  5. Sometimes that advice will be sufficient for you to resolve the issue yourself.
  6. If you need additional assistance, you can continue to chat with us.

2. Calling via KPN Teletolk
You can also call us via the KPN Teletolk text and image mediation service.
KPN Teletolk helps with calls if you are deaf, hard of hearing, or have a speech impairment.
When you call us, any text and images will be translated.
This means that even people who can hear can still call you.

So if you are unable, or no longer able, to make calls in the usual way,
you can use KPN Teletolk.
