Prescriptions for medication
Sometimes the GP or assistant will give you a prescription for medication.
We will immediately send this prescription to a pharmacy that is open at that point in time.
Repeat prescriptions in an emergency
You should not contact us to order repeat prescriptions.
Prescriptions will only be issued in an emergency.
You will then be given enough medication to last you until the next working day, when you should contact your own GP.
We do charge for this service.
The charges will be specified on the bill as a 'telephone consultation'.
Your health insurance card
When you go to collect your medication,
you should always take your health insurance card with you.
Or other proof that you are insured.
If the pharmacy already has your details
and these are up to date,
the pharmacy will send the bill directly to your insurance company.
Paying for medicines right away
If your insurance does not cover the costs of the medication, you will need to pay straight away.
You can do so using cash, or a debit or credit card.
You will also have to pay straight away if your details are incomplete.
